Welcome to ‘The British School of Lanzarote’ Foundation Stage, where the learning journey begins.

BSL Foundation 1 is the first year of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
We offer a holistic and nurturing environment, enabling our young pupils to step tentatively into daily school life and begin their formal educational journey with ease.
The first year of school is, without doubt, one of the most fulfilling years in a child’s life. This stage marks the beginning of the development of all of the abilities and skills that our students should acquire throughout their educational journey.
In Foundation One we offer the children a welcoming and friendly environment where they will find themselves totally immersed in the English language so that skills develop naturally. Learning is acquired through a variety of activities in which students learn to explore and understand the world around them in a safe and familiar environment.
At The British School of Lanzarote we consider it essential for students to have the best possible conditions and learning opportunities to enable them to develop their full potential and that starts at the beginning of their school careers in Foundation One.
