The BSL Team
The British School of Lanzarote is run by a team of 45 dedicated staff members including over 30 teachers and teaching assistants. Our teachers are all fully qualified with British QTS and equivalent Spanish and International Teaching Qualifications.
Our School Staff
The very highly dedicated and fully qualified school staff come from both the UK and Spanish systems.
The class sizes are small and pupils benefit from a high level of academic and personal attention to their individual needs.
As a result, children generally settle quickly, make new friends and enjoy school life. They usually make good progress in their educational studies and learn effectively.

Our Vision
The British School of Lanzarote has been providing a consistently excellent British and International education for 36 years. Our community has thrived over this time, with generations of happy students, families and staff members.
Our approach to learning supports every stage of the educational journey from the ages of 3 to 18. Our Upper School and Sixth Form offer International and local qualifications which can support students beyond Key Stage 5 into University here in Spain and Worldwide.
Our approach engages students in a holistic, challenging academic curriculum taught through English with parallel components of the Spanish National Curriculum.
